Opening of the first robotic dairy farm

The solemn opening ceremony of the first robotic dairy farm took place in a private agricultural enterprise “Ukraine” in Pochuyky on July 7th.

The “Eridon BUD” building company was the developer of technical decisions and the general contractor. 

High-qualified experts of our company managed to combine the latest technologies with world's knowledge and build a dairy farm with the highest European standards.

In order to finish the project in time and not to let the customer down, and correspondently to improve quality of concrete, the Eridon Bud company installed a transportable concrete mixer station with the power of 60 tones per hour.

A number of top domestic and oversea companies, such as Eridon, Buschhoff, Zimmermann etc., took part in creating the complex.

The farm includes a stockbreeding complex with a capacity for 500 heads, calf pen, calving pen, machine and tractor fleet, feed section and feed factory, two-grain containers, 3 hay storages, 4 bunker siloes, 2 lagoons. 

The farm is supplied with the best stable equipment Zimmermann (Germany), optimal stable climate is supported automatically. 8 robotic plants implement milking operations.  

Yaroslav Krasnopolsky, the first assistant of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, said: “building of the farm began a year ago and it is one of high-technology farms in Ukraine today. All of the executive processes are controlled automatically, the influence of human factor is excluded therefore we get milk of the highest quality which meets all requests and in the short term we will be able to compete on the European market.”

The amount of investment is about 160 million UAH, 80 million from which are the cost of a stockbreeding complex.
